The Golden Hammer of Transformation: Culture! - Agile & Beyond 2019

It felt like home to be speaking at Agile and Beyond 2019, one of the biggest (1000+ people attending) and better agile conferences to attend based on my experience. It was the second time that I was presenting at Agile and Beyond. I was so honored to be back. Last time I talk about Coaching and Inner Leadership, this time the talk was called: The Golden Hammer of Transformation: Culture!

This talk was completely different than my previous talks. This was the first time that I was sharing personal and professional experiences through transformation journeys that I have been part of. It was exhilarating to see how the message resonated with many of the people at the conference.

You can find the abstract of the talk below.

It All Starts with a Question, a Powerful One - Big Apple Scrum Day 2019

I was fortunate to be among the 14 selected sessions out of 127 to speak at Big Apple Scrum Day in May of 2019. It was a sold out event ran by the great community of New Yorkers, for the community.  I presented a topic that is very close to me. The title of the talk was "It All Starts with a Question, a Powerful One".

My talk was scheduled right after the keynote speaker: Gitte .She talked about "Are you brave enough to be Agile?" My talk was at "Penne south", a room that could fill in 100 people. I was so humbled that I saw it packed.

The feedback for the session was awesome, people find it both valuable and fun. You can see the fun and value part of it below.

Harness Power of Conflict to Improve Your Organization, Your Team, and Yourself! - Agile Games New England 2019

I was lucky enough to present for the second year in a row at Agile Games New England 2019. This time I was advocating for conflict, different types of it, and ways to handle it or not! The session was designed to present audience a tool to practice at the personal, team and organizational level.

I was fortunate enough to have Alexis Monville part of the audience. He has written a post about his experience, a highlight of it:
The exercise is simple enough to be introduced quickly to any team. A great opportunity to have a conversation about what represents conflict for the team, and what to do the next time we will have, or maybe we should have one.

Innovation Through Customer Co-creation - TriAgile 2019

I had the pleasure to attend and present at TriAgile, on the topic of Innovation. TriAgile is one of the bigger Agile conferences in North America, with 700 people attending. It was held at  Raleigh, NC. The theme this year was Responding to Change - Individuals, Teams & at Scale. The conference organizers had to respond to change due to weather conditions when their keynote speaker, Esther Derby was not able to arrive on time for opening keynote.

I presented in the morning, with a room full of attendees. I ran a session which was based on Design Thinking, slightly modified to accommodate the challenges of high complexity world we live in.
